Which eclipses in 2026 and 2027 are visible from India?
In late 2026, effectively none: the 28 August 2026 partial lunar eclipse peaks in the Indian daytime with the Moon below the horizon. Why eclipses arrive in pairs
You may have noticed the list above clusters: a solar eclipse is almost always followed or preceded by a lunar one a fortnight away. The reason is geometric and rather beautiful.
