Classical Parashari Jyotish with the Lahiri (Chitrapaksha) ayanamsa — the sidereal standard used by India's official Rashtriya Panchang — computed on the Swiss Ephemeris. Ideally yes. Your birth time sets your ascendant and the house framework of the whole chart — even a few minutes can move them. If you don't know it, Astro Ratan can still read from the planetary positions and will tell you which answers need a precise time.

Yes. He replies in whatever Indian language you write in — Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Bengali, Marathi, Punjabi, Odia and the rest — and his menus, alerts and reports come in English and nine Indian languages. This website is in English.

A real reading from your exact chart and a taste of daily guidance — enough to feel the value before you decide. A one-time payment of ₹1 in India or $1 internationally starts your trial: 7 days or 10 questions, whichever comes first, counted from your first message. Nothing renews and nothing more is charged unless you choose a plan.

Premium is the most you can ask in a month: 240 questions a month with no daily cap and up to 3 family profiles. The Astro Ratan methods are shared across every paid plan; Premium buys more questions and more family profiles, not a better astrologer.

Premium — the most questions a month — is ₹1,599/month in India (from ₹1,333/month on longer terms), in US dollars in most other countries, and in local currency in the UK, the UAE, Canada, Australia and Singapore. Essential is ₹699 or $10.50/month with fewer questions and one family profile. Starter is ₹399 or $6/month for 30 questions, just for you. On the website and WhatsApp, securely through Razorpay's hosted page. Auto-pay (UPI AutoPay or card) is on by default at checkout, and it is your choice: leave it on and your plan renews at the end of each term; turn it off and you pay once, and the plan ends with the term. The 12-month Premium plan is always a single payment and never renews. You can turn auto-pay off anytime from your subscription page. In the Android app you pay through Google Play, and the subscription renews until you cancel it in the Play Store.

Yes. Choose how many questions you want each month and how many family members Astro Ratan should know, and the price follows. Start at /pricing/build. It is for people the ready-made plans do not fit: someone who does not have many questions of their own, and someone who mostly wants to ask about their family.

Not usually, and deliberately so. Every plan includes the same daily reading, weekly report, panchang and alerts — so a small custom plan gives you the full experience for less money, and it is priced a little higher per question to reflect that. The bigger the plan, the cheaper each question becomes: that is what a ready-made plan buys you.

Yes, all of them. Your daily reading, the weekly report, panchang and festival alerts, muhurat and compatibility come with every plan at every price. What you are choosing is how many questions you want to ask, and how many family members to include.

None is included with the questions: the size you choose buys questions only. Each family member you add is a flat ₹69 a month ($1 outside India), the same for the first member and the tenth, at any plan size.

You can go up whenever you like and it takes effect immediately. Coming down happens at your next renewal rather than mid-month, so your billing stays predictable and any questions you have carried over do not disappear without warning.

Yes. Whatever you have not asked carries into your next month, as long as you continue within 90 days. What carries is capped at one extra month's worth — so a 240-question plan can hold at most 480 in a single month, and a 40-question plan at most 80. The same rule applies on Starter, Essential and Premium.

Yes. At checkout you can turn on automatic monthly renewal, paid by UPI AutoPay or card, and it is on by default so your questions do not stop without you meaning them to. You can turn it off before you pay, and cancel it any time afterwards from your account — cancelling stops the next charge and leaves the month you have already paid for untouched.

Yes — cancel in one tap, whenever you wish. There are no lock-ins; cancelling simply stops future renewals.

You keep your plan — its questions and family profiles — until the end of the term you've already paid for. Astro Ratan has no free tier, so after that, asking new questions means choosing a plan again. Your daily and weekly reports come with an active trial or paid plan — though until 1 November 2026 every account receives them, plan or not. Your chart, your conversations and your past reports remain yours.

Fees for a subscription period you have started using are generally non-refundable, because every reading is made for you as you ask. We refund in full when you were charged twice, charged without your plan switching on, or charged in error: write to wecare@astroratan.ai with your registered phone number and payment reference within 7 days of the charge. Yes. Your chart and your conversations are yours. We use them only to personalise your guidance — never to sell your data.
