A muhurat chosen for you, not for everyone
Wedding, griha pravesh, a new venture, a signature that matters — Astro Ratan reads the panchang against your chart and helps you choose a window that works with you.
Every panchang site can tell you which days are broadly auspicious. But a muhurat that is good in general is not automatically good for you — the classical texts are clear that timing must be checked against the person's own chart: the Moon's position relative to yours, the day's nakshatra against your nakshatra, and what your current periods are asking of you.
Generic muhurat vs your muhurat
A calendar of auspicious dates answers one question: is this day broadly clean — free of major afflictions, in a workable tithi and nakshatra? A personal muhurat answers a harder one: of the workable windows, which sits well with your chart in particular? That second reading is where tara bala and chandra bala come in — the strength a given day's star and Moon lend to you specifically. Two friends can pick the same 'auspicious' date and have entirely different experiences of it.
The calendar is the same for everyone. The right moment isn't.
- A wedding date the families can agree on — and the chart can too.
- Griha pravesh — moving into a new home on a day that settles rather than scatters.
- A property or vehicle purchase, a business launch, a job you're about to accept.
- The quieter ones: an important conversation, a first consultation, a signature.
How it works with Astro Ratan
Tell it what you're planning and roughly when — “we're thinking of moving in during August” — and it reads the panchang across your window, filters the days that clash with your chart, and explains why the recommended ones sit well: the tithi, the nakshatra, the hours to prefer within the day. If a date you've already been given is weak, it will say so gently, and offer what's near it.
Good timing is not superstition — it's the oldest form of respect for a beginning. Ask about the moment you're planning, and choose it with your chart on your side.
