Venus in the 7th house places the significator of marriage in the house of marriage. Śukra governs union, attraction, comfort and refinement; the 7th governs the spouse and every partnership. As with the Moon in the 4th, a kāraka occupying its own field of signification is a straightforwardly supportive placement — and the 7th is a kendra, which strengthens it further.
It typically shows as genuine ease in partnership: an attractive and companionable manner, a real preference for being in relationship rather than alone, and a partner who is refined, pleasant, or connected to beauty and comfort in some form. Marriage tends to matter to these charts in a way that is not merely social obligation.
There is a well-known classical caveat worth stating rather than hiding. Some authorities hold that a kāraka in its own bhāva can weaken the matters of that house — the doctrine of kāraka bhāva nāśa — and read Venus in the 7th as giving intensity of desire alongside difficulty in sustaining it. Authorities disagree, and in practice the outcome depends on Venus's dignity, aspects and the 7th lord. It is mentioned here because a page that omits it is selling comfort rather than telling you what the tradition says.
The other honest note is that Venus loves harmony enough to avoid conflict, which in a marriage can mean things left unsaid for the sake of peace.
What it does not mean
It does not guarantee a happy marriage, nor does the kāraka bhāva nāśa caveat condemn it. Both readings exist in the tradition and the outcome turns on dignity, aspects and daśā — which is exactly why a generic verdict is worth so little here.
